The Hinsdale Village Board is proud to announce the newest members of the Fire Department, Ryan Dudek and Cameron Russell. Both men were sworn in at the the Village Board meeting on January 24.

Firefighter/Paramedic Ryan Dudek is originally from Western Springs, but currently lives in Indian Head Park. He graduated from Lyons Township High School, where he was a three sport athlete competing on track & field, cross country and La Crosse teams. He earned an Associates Degree in Fire Science from the College of DuPage and is an Illinois licensed paramedic. He obtained his Basic Operations Firefighter training from the Five Towns Academy in the Western Suburbs and is certified by the Illinois State Fire Marshall’s Office. Prior to being hired here in Hinsdale, Ryan was a member of the Western Springs Fire Department both as a paid-on-call firefighter and contract paramedic.

Firefighter/Paramedic Cameron Russell is from Montgomery, IL. He went to high school at Oswego East, where he played football, track, swimming, and was on the bass fishing team. He has an Associate’s Degree from Waubonsee Community College and is a license Paramedic at the national level. He received his Basic Operations Firefighter training from the Big Rock Fire Academy in Sandwich, IL, and is certified by the Illinois State Fire Marshall’s Office. Cameron is also an Eagle Scout and continues to stay active with the Boy Scouts of America as a Merit Badge Counsellor.
