Review of Citation
The Review of Citation is a request for a review of a local ordinance citation including citations for expired meter, no village vehicle sticker, overnight parking violations, and other citations that were issued to your vehicle while it was parked.
$35 citations such as seatbelt violations or distracted driving violations that were issued to you while you were occupying or operating the vehicle must be appealed in court as it is governed by the Illinois Vehicle Code. To request a court hearing come into the Hinsdale Police Department during lobby hours which are Monday-Friday 8:00am – 7:30pm, Saturday 9am-2pm, closed Sunday.
You can submit the Review of Citation form by mail, fax, in person, and through this website. You may find the printable form here. Once the printed form is completed, please be sure to attach a copy of the ticket. You can also pick up a Review of Citation form at the police station and/or fill it out by hand at the station.

REQUEST FOR REVIEW OF CITATION
This is a request for review of a local ordinance citation and does not mean that the citation will be voided or not processed in the event my request is denied. I have indicated below the circumstances which I feel should be brought to the attention of the officer and I am requesting that my citation be voided based on those circumstances.
RETAIN THE ORIGINAL CITATION DURING THE REVIEW PROCESS. INCOMPLETE FORMS WILL BE RETURNED.
