Damage from today’s storm and the accompanying winds exceeding 50 mph has impacted the Hinsdale area.  The Village is currently completing its assessment of the Village.  The Village’s priority is to clear debris and downed limbs within the roadways to allow safe travel by police and first responders.   Hinsdale Police, Fire and Public Works are working to restore roadways and addressing calls that are reporting damage.  Due to the volume and extent of the damage this may take some time.  Residents should call 911 if they encounter any downed power lines or have a situation that requires immediate attention.
